History of MEPSA

MEPSA was formed in 1999 from the amalgamation of two Societies: the Australia and New Zealand Environmental Mutagen Society (ANZEMS); and the Australasian Society for Experimental Pathology (ASEP).

In 2009, the name was changed from Mutagenesis and Experimental Pathology Society of Australasia to Molecular and Experimental Pathology Society of Australasia.
